About Me

I’m an audio engineering enthusiast with over 20 years of professional experience, blending a deep academic background in communications and audio engineering with practical expertise. My journey began in 2001 as a freelance sound engineer, leading me through a rich career supporting numerous events and projects with my skills. After an apprenticeship as an event technician, I pursued a Bachelor of Engineering in Communications Engineering at Hochschule für Technik und Wirtschaft Berlin, followed by a Master of Science in Audio Communication and Technology at the Technische Universität Berlin.

In 2024, I reached a pinnacle in my academic journey by completing my PhD at Technische Universität Berlin, focusing on virtual acoustics. My research, which doubled as my doctoral thesis, delved into the dynamic effects of natural sound sources in virtual acoustic realities, aiming to seamlessly integrate virtual and real auditory experiences. Since 2015, I’ve served as a research assistant at the Department of Audio Communication, specializing in immersive auralization techniques.

My career stands as evidence of my ability to navigate complex technical challenges and innovate within the audio engineering field. I’m passionate about pushing technological boundaries and eager to engage with peers, companies, and institutions passionate about advancing audio technology. Let’s connect and explore how we can drive the future of audio engineering together.
